CultureHub’s props for their 2018 re-staging of Ruth Landshoff Yorck’s 1966 stage poem, Serenade for the Moonstruck Boy. These props, created by Billy Clark, were fabricated at the end of a two week rehearsal process as CultureHub and La MaMa’s Great Jones Repertory Company developed the piece as a 360° online experience.
Serenade for the Moonstruck Boy is a previously un-produced script by Ruth Landshoff Yorck that was found in her typewriter soon after her untimely death. In the play, a man, a woman, an old person, a youth, a girl, a kid, and a small and silent dog on an elevator descend indefinitely into the unknown.
