Invisible Touch

December 22, 2021
Presented by Seoul Institute of the Arts and CultureHub

Invisible Touch is a telematic livestream production that connects Korea and New York within a fantastical XR environment. A dancer in Korea (Jieun Kim) is thrust into the intricately designed 3D world where she encounters an avatar (John Maria Gutierrez) driven by live motion capture technology. Invisible Touch tells a story of interconnectedness between life in different worlds.

Invisible Touch is produced by Seoul Institute of the Arts, CultureHub, and Live-Lab, and is supported by the Korea Creative Content Agency as part of the Contents One Campus Project. Invisible Touch is produced within CultureHub and La MaMa’s Experiments in Digital Storytelling program, which incubates story-driven artworks that push the boundaries of artistic forms.
