Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run Run.
Nikeloops sets up a virtual situation for the viewer to experience mechanics of the body in pursuit of survival and in search for escape through patterns, movement, and loops. The work is made so that the viewer's mind can roam away from their own body, allowing the runner to become an avatar of escape and discovery.
In this opening event, Nikeloops will premiere as a 360° livestream at 6pm EDT, followed by a live conversation at 6:15pm EDT with the artist, Joseph Brock, and fellow CultureHub Resident Artist Brigette Dunn-Korpela. After the conversation, Nikeloops will continue to livestream on a loop until 7pm EDT.
This event is present as a part of Re-Fest, CultureHub's annual festival that brings artists, activists, and technologists together to explore our role in re-shaping the future. Please consider donating any amount when you RSVP to help keep our creative programming free and accessible to all.
