Raven Kwok (aka Guo, Ruiwen) is a visual artist, animator and programmer. His artistic and research interest mainly focus on exploring generative visual aesthetic brought by computer algorithms and software processes. In 2014, Kwok graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with the M.F.A. degree in Electronic Arts. His works have been exhibited and screened at media art and film festivals worldwide, including Ars Electronica, FILE (Electronic Language International Festival), Resonate, FIBER, Vienna Independent Shorts, Punto y Raya, MIAF (Melbourne International Animation Festival), SICAF (Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival), etc.
Auraglyphics (2017) | A collaboration between Raven Kwok and Chucky Kim to create music reactive motion graphics. Auraglyphics was exhibited during "Live Animation" (2017) at CultureHub LA to over 100 attendees and later was installed at The Source in Buena Park as part of "Winter Lights at The Source" - a showcase of motion graphics on a 60+ foot high wall of the shopping center.
