HOME: The Remix

How does memory find its way home?  Anchored in a song cycle and arranged as a congregational living room. HOME: the remix is a concert and memorial that explores heritage, placehood, and what is lost when “home” is impermanent.

Through live music performances and visual storytelling, CultureHub Resident Artist Tahj Lakey engaged fragments of family history and music archives not as relics, but as living material filling the spaces between record and erasure.

This project was supported within the CultureHub Residency program.
