Nocturne: Co-Creating Wild Altars

In-Person Event (LA)
Sunday, March 20, 2022
11am–1pm PT
Sliding Scale $10–$30

Create wild altars with artist Isabel Beavers for their ongoing project, Nocturne. This workshop will  commemorate and celebrate the more-than-human species that we live with and commune with. Participants will co-create wild altars in the form of light sculptures that are placed outdoors in an ecologically significant site. This project allows us to join and share in new eco-rituals through the practices of making and caretaking.

Purchase a ticket to reserve your spot in this in-person workshop, which will be held outside in Los Angeles (participants will receive the exact location in Los Feliz upon registration). There are free tickets for those experiencing financial hardship. To request a free ticket, please email refest@culturehub.org.

Accessibility: Please contact access@culturehub.org for any access questions or further needs for this in-person workshop.
