This is an eight-week course, singing and exploring KPOP. We will examine KPOP's global influence in the music industry and cultural influences that make up the fabric of KPOP. In this class, participants will be learning the fundamentals of proper vocal technique, focusing on breath support and placement. Every week, each person will sing two songs, one KPOP and one American pop (TBD), to show and demonstrate the origin of style and song structure, where proper technique can also be demonstrated and critiqued. The last few weeks can be dedicated to singing and practicing their song of choice. At the end of the workshop, participants will have the option to audition for the Seoul Institute of the Arts. Spaces are limited! Please follow us @CultureHubLA to get the latest information about registration and syllabus!
* This workshop is for LA Residents only.
