« IDENTITY PROJECT: I AM ____________ »

On September 22, 2012 Daniel Pinheiro and Tiago Bôto from Portugal in partnership with Brooklyn-Based performance and exhibition artist Whitney V. Hunter and CultureHub NYC, collaborated, and brought a whole new layer to the Identity Project process. In this exchange both sides performed for live audiences while connected through telepresence to address issues related to individuals, namely their need for construction and deconstruction of identity while acknowledging labeling trends that allow people to say: I AM___________.
This event was also featured in the Circular, Festival de Artes Performativas (Vila do Conde, Portugal).
